Cariaggi. Visual campaign. Cashmere expressed through movement, bodies, and light.
This project explores cashmere through movement and the human body. A contemporary film where dancers interact with large cashmere textiles, transforming fabric into volume, gesture, and rhythm.
Lightness, flexibility, and tactility become visible through slow motion and natural light.
Developed as a brand film for Cariaggi, the project was conceived to translate material excellence into an emotional and contemporary visual language.
The film was presented at Pitti Firenze together with a dedicated exhibition booth, designed to extend the same narrative into physical space.
Cashmere is treated as an active presence rather than a static material. Through movement, fabric responds to gravity, air, and the body, revealing its softness, elasticity, and natural behavior.
Dance becomes a tool to express material qualities without explanation.
The dancers’ bodies function as temporary structures. Wrapped, suspended, and released, the textiles continuously change form, creating sculptural compositions that exist only for a moment.
This approach highlights cashmere as a living material, shaped by interaction rather than control.
The film adopts a restrained color palette drawn from natural tones. Soft light and minimal contrast allow texture and movement to remain central, reinforcing a sense of calm and material purity.
Every visual decision serves to reduce noise and focus attention on form.
The project was presented at Pitti Firenze alongside a custom exhibition booth. The space was built entirely with natural fabrics and rounded forms, mirroring the softness and fluidity expressed in the film.
Moving image and physical environment were conceived as a single experience.
From a cinematic perspective, the film relies on slow motion, controlled pacing, and observational framing. There is no narration or explanation. Meaning emerges through repetition, rhythm, and physical presence. Sound design supports the sensation of weightlessness and continuity.
The project reinforced Cariaggi’s positioning as a cashmere producer attentive not only to quality, but to contemporary culture and expression.
By presenting material through movement and space, the film offered adaptable content suitable for exhibitions, presentations, and long-term brand communication.
This project demonstrates how brand film can move beyond traditional product representation. By using the body and movement as narrative tools, cashmere is perceived as an experience rather than a commodity.
The result is a visual language that feels modern, sensitive, and durable over time.
