Exteta. The 2025 Brand Chapter. A year of design, collaboration, and material culture shaped through film.

In 2025, Exteta needed to bring new collections, designer collaborations and the work behind its furniture into a coherent brand story. Salone del Mobile was a key moment, but the communication had to continue beyond the fair.

fffilms.it developed the film direction across interviews, collection films and production footage. Each collaboration had its own character. The task was to preserve those differences while making Exteta’s contribution clear throughout.

Interviews with Studiopepe, Massimo Castagna and Paola Navone OTTO Studio brought the designers’ perspectives into the presentation. Their voices gave the furniture context, connecting the finished pieces to the thinking behind their forms and materials.

Loro Piana Interiors, The Delight Chairs by Exteta, designed by Paola Navone OTTO Studio, reinterpreted the classic director’s chair through wood and fabric. The film brought attention to the materials and the relaxed character of the collection.

The Exteta × Riva collection, designed by Massimo Castagna, drew on a different heritage. Wooden details and forms inspired by boat hulls carried Riva’s nautical language into outdoor furniture. These references gave the presentation its own atmosphere within Exteta’s wider story.

Jacquemus + Exteta revisited Gae Aulenti’s Locus Solus collection from 1964. New fabrics, colours and finishes changed how the familiar forms were seen, bringing the original design into a contemporary setting.

Inside Exteta’s production facilities, the camera followed wood, marble, metal and finishing processes. These sequences connected the designers’ ideas to the work needed to realise them. The care visible in the furniture could also be seen in its making.

Together, the films gave Exteta a story it could develop through exhibitions, interviews and digital releases during the year. The collaborations attracted attention, while the work behind them showed what Exteta brought to each project.
