Exteta. The 2025 Brand Chapter. A year of design, collaboration, and material culture shaped through film.

Expertise: Film Direction / Furniture Productions / Exhibitions

Exteta 2025 is a cinematic recap of a full year of design, production, and collaboration. The project uses film to connect Salone del Mobile with interviews, collections, and manufacturing moments, shaping a continuous narrative rather than a single event document.

The result is a visual story where people, materials, and design processes coexist within the same rhythm.

Rather than focusing exclusively on Salone del Mobile 2025, the project was conceived as a broader film direction for the Exteta brand. A long-form narrative capable of representing design vision, creative partnerships, and production excellence across the entire year.

The objective was to build a coherent cinematic language that could unify exhibitions, designer collaborations, and industrial know-how into one recognizable communication system.

The project includes Salone del Mobile 2025 as a central moment, but expands beyond the fair itself. Through interviews and dedicated film sequences, the narrative brings together the voices and visions of Studiopepe, Massimo Castagna, and Paola Navone OTTO Studio, each contributing to the evolution of Exteta’s collections.

Film becomes a connective element, capable of linking different moments, places, and design philosophies into a single brand story.

Among the featured collaborations is The Delight Chairs, designed by Paola Navone OTTO Studio for Exteta in partnership with Loro Piana Interiors. Inspired by the classic director’s chair, the project reinterprets a familiar form through refined materials, expert craftsmanship, and a relaxed Mediterranean sensibility.

Wood structures and Loro Piana Interiors fabrics combine visual elegance with tactile comfort, transforming a traditional object into a contemporary design statement.

The 2025 narrative also highlights the Exteta x Riva collection, designed by Massimo Castagna. An outdoor furniture line that translates the iconic language of nautical design into the world of living, drawing from Riva’s heritage, craftsmanship, and full-custom approach.

From sculptural upholstered forms to wooden elements inspired by boat hulls, the collection reflects a shared vision rooted in precision, material culture, and the art of living.

Another key chapter is the collaboration between Exteta and Jacquemus, revisiting the iconic Locus Solus collection designed by Gae Aulenti in 1964. Reinterpreted with new finishes and handcrafted details, the project connects historical design heritage with contemporary sensibility. Film allows these references to coexist naturally, without hierarchy, as part of a broader cultural landscape.

Beyond design and exhibitions, the film direction includes a focus on Exteta’s production facilities. Wood, marble, metal, and finishing processes are observed as living elements of the brand, reinforcing the relationship between industrial precision and design vision.

These sequences ground the narrative in material reality, balancing creative storytelling with manufacturing expertise.

By combining fairs, collaborations, interviews, and production into a single cinematic framework, Exteta 2025 establishes continuity across communication channels and time.

The film direction supports the brand not only during Salone del Mobile, but throughout the year, offering content that remains relevant across markets and platforms.

Exteta 2025 demonstrates how film direction can operate as a strategic brand tool. Not as isolated content, but as an evolving narrative system capable of absorbing complexity while maintaining clarity.

Through a consistent cinematic language, the project aligns design vision, creative collaboration, and industrial culture into a unified brand presence.
